Autumn has arrived
Strong race card in Straubing – Superfecta in the 4th race
Summer is over, autumn has arrived – and the Straubing race track is ready for another pair of race days. On Thursday there are races being broadcast. The autumn card offers plenty of attractive betting opportunities, with full fields.
Race 1
In the opening PMU race, the horses with the strongest chances are drawn in the second row. If Aconcagua (Rudi Haller) and Joie de Vivre (Josef Franzl) negotiate the traffic well, they should fight it out for victory. Ultrablue (Marisa Bock) is in good form. Gri Barack (Herbert Tuscher) has returned to his best and has already scored at the highest level. Rozmarin (Georg Bachmeier) is fast from the start and, particularly from this starting position, is always capable of causing a surprise.

Race 2
Senna (Tom Karten) arrives at the start with a spotless record and should be able to maintain it in Straubing. Illypop Bar (Josef Franzl) is a stablemate and a potential rival, although she has the less favourable starting position. Kian (Robert Pletschacher) has already scored a good win in Straubing this season. Pete S Boko (Denise Schuch), Gri Sixtysix (Rudolf Haller) and Miss Johns (Christoph Fischer) all have realistic chances of finishing in the money.

Race 3
After a break, Ocean Eyes (Stefan Hiendlmeier) returns and will be looking to collect points for his driver in the Straubing Amateur Championship. He has always performed very well in his first start after a break and, if at his best, does not need to fear any of his rivals. Fast starter Magnum Stone (Dr. Conny Schulz) can stay in front for a long time in strong hands. Gino (Peter Platzer) has scored in trotting races under saddle but is also capable in sulky races. Xalina B (Renate Lindinger) faces a much easier task here and will have a few more races before eventually heading to the breeding programme.

Race 4
The fourth race could develop into something of a “head-to-head” between Lena Franzl, driving Carrie B., and Tom Karten behind Jördis. The race tactics could prove decisive. Carrie B. performs extremely well in Straubing, while Jördis is a first-class choice after her performance at the level of the German Filly Derby. Super Pro LR (Rudi Haller) could also be the one smiling at the finish. Tyrolean Hero (Andreas Geineder) made a good impression at Daglfing. This is a race in which the Four-Way bet should be particularly interesting. Delaware Bro (Christoph Fischer) and Macarena Klipp (Marisa Bock) should also be included in calculations.

Race 5
The fifth race looks like a very open affair. Punters should spread their selections as widely as possible in the V-bets. Zamba Zamba S (Martin Geineder) has the form, driver and starting position to handle the task. Belluci Rosso (Peter Platzer) represents top class and, if he trots cleanly, the winner could already have been found. Neuf du Pape (Renate Lindinger) has enjoyed success not only under saddle. It’s Me (Julia Wiesner) could benefit from today’s driver. Unfinished Business (Stefan Hiendlmeier) gave Lucy Schneider her first drive but lost ground at the start. She can put that right today.

Race 6
The sixth race features some promising debutants. Flightline (Tom Karten) is the favourite following a solid qualifying time. Joshua KS (Christoph Fischer) is also highly regarded. Mignon (Josef Franzl) has completed another trial run and is likewise a leading candidate for victory.

Race 7
The French horses meet in a duel in the final race. Following a break, Iathenus Day (Christoph Fischer) looks like the first choice. King des Ves (Josef Sparber), however, has faced much stronger opposition in open races and gets our vote. When it comes to the places, almost any of the rivals could get involved. This Trotteur Français race is an attractive and very evenly matched contest.
