For our english speaking friends (22nd July)
I Am Jet ready for another success?

Excellent seven-race card – Guaranteed pools of 13.000 Euro

Fresh from her victory in the TCT Gold Cup for mares and already regarded as a leading hope for the Italian Derby, the three-year-old I Am Jet continues her remarkable rise. The talented filly has already made a lasting impression at Straubing and now faces a much tougher assignment in Wednesday’s meeting. Betters can also look forward to attractive betting opportunities with total guaranteed pools of 13,000 Euro., for example a 1,000 guaranteed Exacta pool including the jackpot in the last race.

Race 1:

The opening race has the look of a standard-class contest. I Am Jet (Marisa Bock) and the impressive Baden winner Valesco (Christoph Schwarz) both represent Team Lila and look set to fight out the finish. Trainer Manfred Schub is doubly represented with Princess Peach (Christoph Fischer), an impressive amateur race winner, and the consistently reliable Victory Ares (Josef Sparber). Augustiner (Dr. Conny Schulz) is currently in the form of his life after making every post a winning one against quality opposition at Daglfing and is another leading contender.

Our pick:
(1) I Am Jet – (6) Valesco – (4) Augustiner

Race 2:

Eberhard Truppo (Marcus Gramüller) could prove the one to beat in the second race. Although he starts from the second row, his early speed and class make him a major player. Stablemates Neuf du Pape (Pinja Mäkinen) and Dexter CG (Marisa Bock) are obvious dangers. Holger (Robert Pletschacher) has already shown plenty of ability, while Luna Barosso (Christian Ferstl) will be looking to bounce back after a below-par effort. Reliable campaigner Lennarth (Vitus Schwaiger) also has solid claims.

Our pick:
(9) Eberhard Truppo – (1) Neuf du Pape – (10) Holger

Race 3:

Dream of Action (Christoph Fischer) looks capable of overcoming his second-row draw in Race 3. He was narrowly beaten last time and has always performed particularly well on smaller tracks. Belina Times (Marisa Bock) faced a difficult trip in her latest outing, while Profitable Invest (Josef Sparber) has yet to rediscover last season’s best form but ran respectably at Daglfing. Fast starter Maneli (Marcus Gramüller) has joined a new stable and is attractively placed, while Dafna (Pipa Mäkinen) should appreciate the mobile start after an early break last time.

Our pick:

(10) Dream of Action – (1) Dafna – (5) Belina Times

Race 4:

Race 4 is the highlight for Superfecta players with its guaranteed pool. Barolo Rosso (Stefan Hiendlmeier) produced a dominant victory at Straubing in excellent style and time. The half-brother to superstar Fragolino Rosso has plenty of potential. His main rival appears to be Ultrablue (Peter Platzer), who starts from the second row. Vaiana (Herbert Lorenz) is very quick from the gate and looks dangerous with a better draw this time. Gri Barack (Herbert Tuscher) arrives in winning form after an easy success at Daglfing. Kador du Choquel (Ferdinand Veit) and Ideolog (Vitus Schwaiger) have also been performing well, while Sly (Denise Schuch) and Excellent Grandcru (Benjamin Priller) cannot be ruled out for the placings.

Our pick:
(11) Barolo Rosso – (9) Ultrablue – (1) Vaiana – (10) Sly

Race 5:

Following the PMU races, the V3 resumes. Ahoi Diamant, like Barolo Rosso, is the brother of a famous Derby contender in Blizzard Diamant. If the imposing son of Love You is fully fit, he will be very difficult to beat. Contessa Victory (Christoph Fischer) was well beaten at Daglfing but finds a more favourable assignment here. Harley Quinn (Denise Schuch) could spring a surprise, while Final Embrace (Robert Pletschacher) and Shenandoah (Marisa Bock) are also capable of making an impact.

Our pick:
(7) Ahoi Diamant – (2) Contessa Victory – (5) Final Embrace

Race 6:
Kian (Robert Pletschacher) produced an excellent performance last time and looks set to clash primarily with Mateo KS (Christoph Fischer). Kinder du Gers (Josef Sparber) and Zara LR (Pinja Mäkinen) have place claims, although the race appears wide open behind the leading pair.

Our pick:
(5) Kian – (3) Mateo KS – (2) Kinder du Gers

Race 7:

The finale could provide Team Lila with another winner. The well-bred Sephora (Marisa Bock) displayed plenty of talent in qualifying, as did Iberys di Poggio (Pinja Mäkinen). If Vinland (Marcus Gramüller) keeps his stride together, he has every chance of winning as well. Should one of the leading contenders make a mistake, the race becomes much more open, making the guaranteed Exacta pool particularly attractive.

Our pick:
(2) Sephora – (3) Vinland – (1) Iberys di Poggio
